Come and say hi!
You’re your own boss.
Now that you’re a Digital Marketer, we’re going to be directing you to some powerful videos on marketing, so watch and learn!
This is a great video if you already have experience in Marketing Gary Vayerchuck is the NO.1 digital marketing expert in the world.
Gary Vee is worth a follow. Pre-mobile phone marketing really did work differently.
Some key notes:
B2B means Business to Business. Gary Vee recommends that if the company you work for is B2B you absolutely need to understand Linkedin.
Understand that Content can get repurposed. The Variable of success is creativity in a creative agency. You need to add value to your content.
Understand media and plan to target to a narrow audience. Organic traffic only ever goes to the same people unless you pay, tag people in and use hashtags.
Listen closely, as this is your real starting point!
First of all, look at a companies social media and figure out how many platforms they have, how many followers they have, what their engagement is like, and most importantly – what needs to be changed in order to make their online presence even more successful? Take it all in, and note down any strengths and weaknesses.
Fill in the documents linked below, as this is your starting point for assessing how well a company is doing right now!
We want you to check in on your employer’s social media on a weekly basis, and see how the changes you’ll be implementing have a real impact on engagement, and ultimately new client enquiries!
Line this task up for tomorrow.
In order to make posting more simple, you’ll be connecting your employer’s social accounts together to generate a more coherent brand narrative. By getting your employer’s passwords, you will be able to connect their Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, and the rest to our posting platform called Socially Sorted. That way, you can schedule the posting, manage posts and answer any comments or messages all in one place!
Here’s a little challenge for you:
Do a Facebook Live (or pre-record and upload it) in the Facebook group to introduce yourself to the other Kickstarters.
